2. What data do we process?

  • Data you provide: your name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of your message, via our contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp, and your registration details for our training courses.
  • Client and project data: contact and billing details and the information needed to carry out an assignment (for example access to your website, Google or Meta accounts).
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device details, pages visited and interactions, via server logs and – only with your consent – analytics and marketing cookies.

3. Why, and on what legal basis?

  • Answering your request and preparing a quote – pre-contractual steps and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  • Delivering our services and training – performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Invoicing and accounting – legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • Protecting the website and contact form against spam and abuse (e.g. Google reCAPTCHA) – legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Website statistics (Google Analytics) and measuring and personalising ads (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel) – your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

We never sell your data.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies for the operation and security of the website. Analytics and marketing cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel) are only placed after you have given your consent. You can change your choice at any time and delete cookies in your browser settings.

5. Who do we share your data with?

Only with service providers that help us run the website and deliver our services, and only as far as necessary: our hosting provider, email and office software, our accountant, Google (Analytics, reCAPTCHA, Ads), Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) and TikTok. We sign data processing agreements with processors where required. We disclose data to authorities when the law requires us to.

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some providers (e.g. Google, Meta and TikTok) may process data outside the EEA. This only happens with appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision of the European Commission (for example the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

7. How long do we keep your data?

  • Requests that do not lead to an assignment: up to 2 years after the last contact.
  • Client and project data: for the duration of the collaboration and afterwards as long as needed to handle any disputes.
  • Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by law.
  • Analytics and marketing data: according to the retention period set in the tool concerned, or until you withdraw your consent.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing and to data portability. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest and to direct marketing. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Send your request to info@engagestorm.be. We reply within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels.

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as a secure HTTPS connection, restricted access and regular updates.

10. Minors

Our services are not aimed at persons under 16. We do not knowingly process data of minors.

11. Changes

We may update this privacy statement. The latest version is always available on this page, with the date of the last change. See also our terms of use.
